Business Development Manager- BioGrad Education
Company overview: BioGrad Education is an established and rapidly expanding brand specialising in science courses nationwide. With the goal of increasing our sales from 1.5 million to 6.5 million in the next 12 months, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our team and drive revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and make a significant impact on our success.
Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager, your main responsibility will be to coordinate sales for our science courses across the country. You will focus on increasing sales and expanding our customer base. This involves leading a sales team, managing social media and marketing campaigns, and implementing effective B2B and B2C sales strategies. While science knowledge is not required, a background in education sales and a proven track record in managing successful sales operations are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets, aiming to increase sales from 1.5 million to 6.5 million within 12 months.
  • Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to maximize performance and productivity.
  • Coordinate sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, client presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, educational institutions, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of social media and marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product and service improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets, and provide regular updates to the senior management team.
  • Work with the sales team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our science courses and increase brand visibility.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching, and training to improve the sales team’s skills and achieve individual and team targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships, generate leads, and enhance the company’s reputation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide valuable insights and feedback from customers and the market to inform product enhancements and new course offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities and interactions with clients and stakeholders.
